Bob Smith and Nick Reiher, news editors for the Daily Herald and the Naperville Sun and Chip Mitchell of WBEZ Chicago Public Radio will participate in a panel-audience discussion examining the challenges and ethical standards for reporting in the 21st century. The conversation will be moderated by Dr. Stephen Macek, from North Central College.

Doug Kreiger, City Manager of the City of Naperville, will address the steps the City of Naperville is undertaking to promote ethics and transparency in government.
Wednesday, May 19, 2010	7pm - 9pm	Naperville City Hall Lower Level - Lunchroom 400 S. Eagle St Naperville, IL 60540	Park District efforts to promote ethics and transparency in government. Ray McGury, Executive Director of the Naperville Park District will address what steps the Park District is undertaking to promote ethics and transparency in government.

Illinois League of Women Voters State of the State Luncheon Guest Speaker: Patrick Collins Patrick Collins is a partner in the firm Perkins Coie and a former federal prosecutor.Patrick led the eight year operation safe road investigation, which culminated in the six month trial and conviction of former Governor George Ryan. In January 2009, Patrick was appointed by Illinois Governor Patrick Quinn to chair the Illinois Reform Commission, which was tasked with with making recommendations for ethical reform of Illinois Government *Formal Invitation to Follow*
